The Bramcote Lorne Community Code ensures the health, safety and happiness of every member of our school community.
The two main principles of our Community Code are:
1. Everyone at Bramcote Lorne is treated with respect and seeks to work in a calm, safe and clean environment.
2. Everyone is expected to enjoy and make good use of their time at school.
Chewing Gum
There is a complete ban on chewing gum at all times.
Mobile Phones
Day pupils should not bring mobile phones to school at any time. Boarders may bring mobiles to school and hand them in to the house parents for safe keeping. They are allowed to use them at specified times during the evenings.
Care of Property and Valuables
All personal property and school uniform should be clearly marked with your name. Items of clothing should not be borrowed at any time. Pupils are advised not to bring expensive personal items to school.
Bullying
Bullying is considered to be any act that deliberately causes pain, unhappiness, humiliation or suffering to another pupil.
Bullying in any form is not tolerated at Bramcote Lorne. We have a clear anti-bullying policy and every member of the community has a responsibility to uphold it. All pupils have the right to enjoy their time at school in an atmosphere of emotional and physical security. Pupils are encouraged to talk to an adult at any time about bullying in the knowledge that intervention will be designed to bring bullying to an end without damaging the peer group relationships of pupils.

Pupils are encouraged to wear their school uniform with pride, ensuring that it is clean and tidy, and should look tidy and smart at all times. Shirts should always be tucked in and top buttons done up. Girls should wear sensible low-heeled shoes. Pupils are encouraged to keep their shoes polished.
