Musical Examinations
At the beginning of December six pupils were taken to their examinations to demonstrate that they were improving their skills and developing greater musicality. These pupils were Jack Baxter for the piano Prep Test, Rachel Wells for Grade 1 guitar, Jessica Jackson for Grade 1 trumpet, Danielle Stewart for Grade 1 drum kit, Lucinda Walker-Tully for Grade 3 piano and Megan-Rose Beard for Grade 4 clarinet and Grace Sanderson for Grade 4 clarinet.
During the holidays the results were published and it is with great pride and pleasure that I can inform you that each of the examinees passed their examinations with flying colours. Special congratulations to Jessica Jackson who passed with distinction and to Rachel Wells and Lucinda Walker-Tully who narrowly missed their merit passes. Jack Baxter was given particular praise from the examiner for his confident and assured performance. Well done, everyone!
