On Thursday 7th February our U13 boys and girls teams made the long journey down to Bilton Grange School in Rugby for the annual North Midlands Cross Country Competition.
Traditionally the school has done very well at the event and this year was no exception. All of the boys and girls ran fantastically well on a rather difficult and cold course. A special mention goes to Ali Stewart, who won the U13 girls’ race and Grace Sanderson, who finished in 7th place. The girls’ team finished 4th overall.
The boys also ran well in a very strong field and everyone should be proud of their efforts. They were a credit to the school.
Next year we look forward to hosting the event which normally comprises of over 12 schools.
