Pupils can be rewarded with stars across a wide range of activities with a particular emphasis on work. Stars will be entered into a pupil’s school planner and counted by the form teacher at the end of every week; they contribute to the House Competition.

Pupils’ efforts and achievements may be rewarded with a Star if they –

  • produce a particularly good piece of work
  • are particularly helpful
  • show good initiative
  • show exceptional care and consideration for others

At the end of term all Stars are totalled up and certificates awarded as follows:

  • 30= bronze certificate
  • 70 =silver certificate
  • 100 = gold certificate
  • 150 =diamond certificate

Certificates will be presented in the end of term assembly by the Headmaster.

Outstanding achievements in the classroom or elsewhere may be rewarded by a Headmaster’s Roll of Honour. In this event, the pupil visits the Headmaster with evidence of the achievement and receives a certificate.
