“Bramcote Lorne is a school where the opportunities for academic challenge and personal development, teamwork and leadership are endless”
Sir Ewan Harper, Chief Executive, United Church Schools Trust
Welcome to Bramcote Lorne School, a day and boarding school for pupils aged three months to 13 years of age. The school is part of United Church Schools Trust ®, an organisation that is renowned for its high quality schools where every child is seen to be important and where each child’s achievements are celebrated as a success.
All involved at Bramcote Lorne share a passion for the quality of teaching and learning. Our key objective is to bring out the best in every child in an atmosphere in which they feel safe and valued, where they are happy and challenged.
Our curriculum offers a broad and balanced learning experience designed to ensure that every pupil has a wide range of skills which will enable him or her to succeed in life and work.
Within the setting of a small country estate on the fringe of one of Nottinghamshire’s finest villages we enjoy excellent communications along the A1 and the rail link to London making the school very accessible for boarder parents. The school operates bus routes from villages within Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire and South Yorkshire.
I hope very much that you find our website useful. You are most welcome to visit Bramcote Lorne and gain a real appreciation of our school and the children who thrive here.

'It'll All Come Out in the Wash' is a play written by Mr John Lambert, one of our teachers. The cast showed off their talents during two performances which were filled with laughter and enjoyed very much by all.
Congratulations to Alexandra Stewart, Grace Sanderson, Stephanie Leach, Megan-Rose Beard and Lucinda Walker-Tully - award winners one and all!
